About Trisha

Trisha Kaufman

In an era of constantly changing technology and coupons available for everything from Botox to blow-dries, customer service and attention to detail is something that can never be replaced or put on sale. Neither can you and your true self.  I believe that a great haircut doesn’t need a great blowdry and your hair has a right to an opinion, too. Listen to what your hair wants, find a style suited to that, and you will always look great. I don’t love hairspray, backcombing, bobby pins, or hot tools, but highlighting your true, natural beauty is what I’m all about.
I’ve spent time on stage as an educator for Toni & Guy and Goldwell, on set for film and photo as a hair and makeup artist, giving haircuts to over a dozen celebrities, been featured in magazines such as Allure, Modern Salon, and Time Out, but what really gives me pride, is the number of clients I still have from 20+ years ago when I started in the industry.
Making people feel beautiful in their natural state is the greatest reward for my job and I think the relationships I have with my clients are priceless. I don’t have a website or blog, and I don’t know how to use Twitter or why, but I can hear everything your hair is telling me and I can’t wait to let it sing.
